Despite boasting one of the most potent front lines in world football, Liverpool continue to be linked with attacking players.

One such reported target is Dani Olmo, a Spanish winger who came through the ranks at Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy.

Currently plying his trade at Dinamo Zagreb, the 20-year-old has certainly benefited from first-team football in Croatia’s top flight.

Olmo scored nine goals and set up six more in all competitions last season, helping Zagreb win the Croatian league title.

As such, Croatian publication Svijet Kladjenja reported that the former Spain Under-18 international was on Jurgen Klopp’s radar.

However, it appears that Olmo may now be on the verge of a return to Camp Nou, if the latest speculation is to be believed.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, the Blaugrana have been monitoring the highly-rated Catalan youngster over the past few weeks.

The report also suggests that Barca and Olmo’s representatives have already been in talks, which are said to be at a promising stage.

This means that Liverpool would need to act fast if they are to stand any hope of recruiting Olmo, who has also been linked with AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
