Premier League giants Liverpool are reportedly keen on former Barcelona winger Dani Olmo, who’s also on the radar of Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund

Dani Olmo is far from a household name on British shores but that could change very soon.
Olmo is a winger who honed his trade in Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy, spending seven years with the Catalan giants between 2007 and 2014. But, in a surprise move, he left Catalonia for Croatia four years ago, joining Dinamo Zagreb.
Though regular first-team football in Eastern Europe has certainly helped the 20-year-old’s development. Olmo scored nine goals and set up six more in all competitions last season, helping Zagreb win the Croatian league title.
And it seems that he could soon be on his way to a bigger European league. Croatian publication Svijet Kladjenja report that Olmo is attracting attention from Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund with the former Spain U18 international having been scouted a number of times this season.
And Olmo’s agent has spoken to Calciomercato on Wednesday, hinting at interest from Anfield.

“I can confirm that Milan and other clubs are following Dani. There are several Italian clubs interested in him, as well as some in England and Spain,” Juanma Lopez stated, claiming that Barcelona also want to bring the youngster back.
Lopez’ admission that Olmo is being targeted by clubs in England is surely a good indication that reports of Liverpool’s interest is on the money.
Jurgen Klopp has shown throughout his managerial career that he will give youth a chance and Olmo would certainly get opportunities if he choose Merseyside.
