Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao.
Lazio’s Balde Diao Keita reacts
Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for exciting Lazio forward, Keita Balde Diao, in the summer transfer window.
The Reds are thought to be working on a deal for Mohamed Salah, but it seems the Merseyside club are looking to exploit the Italian market very well.
According to reports from ESPN, Liverpool are maintaining an interest in Balde. The Reds have held a long standing interest in the Lazio forward, but they have made no official approach for his signature.

Balde is a product of Barcelona’s world famous La Masia youth set up, but moved to Lazio at the age of 16.
He has scored 30 goals in 134 appearances in Italy, and has enjoyed a fruitful 2016/17 campaign as well. Balde scored 16 goals in the Serie A this season and provided three assists as well.
The Senegal international would be a decent signing for the Reds. His key attributes – speed, dribbling, and finishing ability – would appeal to Jurgen Klopp.

The report adds that other Premier League clubs are also tempted for a move. The reason being his contract situation.
Balde’s contract expires at the end of next season, so unless he signs a new deal, the summer window presents a good opportunity for the Biancoceleste to receive a hefty fee for one of their top players.
It can well happen that Liverpool are considering Balde as a back up option if they fail to sign primary targets like Mohamed Salah.
