Liverpool forward Sadio Mane’s agent met with Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic this past weekend, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Bayern are interested in signing Mane from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The Senegal international forward’s agent met with Bayern official Salihamidzic over the weekend and discussed Mane, according to Plettenberg.
Bayern Munich want Liverpool’s Sadio Mane

Worry for Reds?
In our opinion, Plettenberg’s claim about Mane is a worry for Liverpool.
Much has been made about Mohamed Salah yet to sign a new deal with Liverpool, but we must not forget that Mane is also out of contract at the Reds in the summer of 2023.
Mane is a world-class forward whose importance to the current Liverpool team cannot be undermined at all.
In our view, Liverpool cannot let Mane leave this summer.
The Senegalese is at the top of his game at the moment, and that Bayern are keen on signing the 30-year-old shows that he has a demand outside of Liverpool.
Mane has scored 14 goals and given two assists in the Premier League, and has scored five goals in the Champions League for Liverpool this season.
