Liverpool are interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi – but face a battle with both Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
That’s according to German newspaper Bild, who claim that those three clubs are at the front of the queue for Adeyemi if he moves on.
Signed for just €3million (£2.6million) in 2018, Adeyemi is now valued at €20million (£17.2million) and could be in demand as early as January.
Who is Liverpool target Karim Adeyemi?
Adeyemi, 19, has enjoyed a stunning start to the season with six goals in his first six league games, as well as picking up one assist.
Erling Haaland and Patson Daka have made big moves after starring at Salzburg, and after 11 assists in all competitions last season, Adeyemi could follow suit – even if he has been coy about comparisons to Haaland.
A speedy forward who was once on the books at Bayern, Adeyemi is being backed for a huge future both at domestic and international level.

Liverpool’s history with Red Bull players
Liverpool’s Adeyemi interest maybe isn’t a huge surprise given their history of signing players with connections to Red Bull.
Winger Sadio Mane played for Red Bull Salzburg, as did Takumi Minamino.
Naby Keita turned out for both Salzburg and RB Leipzig, with Ibrahima Konate arriving from the latter this summer.
Their schooling in a high-intensity, high-pressing style of play prepares them well for life at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.
With Adeyemi now starring, he could be the latest to swap life with the energy drink brand for more history and tradition at Anfield.
