Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will complete the signing of Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen imminently, according to The Telegraph.
The report has claimed that Liverpool will complete the signing of the Scottish full-back ‘this weekend pending a medical’.
Described as a “special player” by former Aberdeen and Scotland international central defender Willie Miller in The Press and Journal, Ramsey will reportedly cost £8 million in transfer fees.
Calvin Ramsay would make Liverpool better
In our view, Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay would make Liverpool a better team.
Now, of course, we know that Trent Alexander-Arnold is the number one right-back at Liverpool.

The England international is one of the best right-backs in the world and is a brilliant player.
Alexander-Arnold will play for Liverpool when he is fit and available.
Now, Ramsay is only 18, and clearly the Scotland Under-21 international is going to be a back-up to Alexander-Arnold in the coming years.
However, the youngster will improve and progress working with Klopp and his Liverpool coaching staff and learning from Alexander-Arnold.
Ramsay has a lot of potential, and it is not every day that a big club such as Liverpool sign an 18-year-old from a Scottish team.
