Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United and Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea all are reportedly planning moves for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri has reported on Twitter that Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all want to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli in the summer transfer window.

The reporter, who has almost 45,000 followers on Twitter, has claimed that Liverpool, United and Chelsea all plan to hold talks with the entourage of the Napoli and Nigeria international striker.

Tavolieri has added that the £93,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker wants to move to the Premier League.

Liverpool surely behind Manchester United and Chelsea for Victor Osimhen

In our opinion, Liverpool are unlikely to be able to compete with Manchester United and Chelsea for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Napoli are not going to sell the 24-year-old on the cheap.

There is speculation that Napoli want €150 million (£129 million) for the striker.

Liverpool will surely not pay that much for Osimhen when they are not actually in need of a forward player now.

Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez are the main forward options that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has at his disposal right now.

The Reds really do not need another player to play in attack.

Manchester United and Chelsea have more pressing needs for a number 9.

Marcus Rashford of United is not a ‘natural’ striker, and Romelu Lukaku reportedly wants to go back to Inter Milan on another loan deal from Chelsea.
