Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly keen on leaving Stamford Bridge.

According to The London Evening Standard, Romelu Lukaku wants to leave Chelsea and join Inter Milan in the summer transfer window.

The former Manchester United striker is so keen on the transfer that he is “willing to halve his £325,000-a-week salary”.

Chelsea, though, are trying to convince Lukaku to move to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners would get a hefty transfer fee, and the Belgian striker would get a £6 million pay-rise if he went to Al-Hilal.

However, Lukaku himself is not keen on a switch to Saudi Arabia and has his heart set on a return to Inter on another loan deal, according to the report.

The striker spent last season on loan at Inter and helped them reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

What should Chelsea do about Romelu Lukaku?

In our opinion, if Romelu Lukaku does not want to stay at Chelsea, then the Blues should just let him go back to Inter Milan on another loan deal.

There is no way that Chelsea will be able to force the striker into moving to Saudi Arabia.

Lukaku was on loan at Inter last season, and if he is willing to spend another campaign on a temporary deal at the former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners and is ready to take a pay-cut, then Chelsea should just respect his wish.

True, Chelsea would not get any transfer fee for Lukaku, but at the same time, the Blues would not have to pay his salary.
