The Mail claim Leeds United want to complete deals for Southampton attacker Che Adams, and Atlas forward Julian Quinones before they play host to Wolves on Saturday afternoon – their first league game.
Leeds have already brought in six new players this summer, spending north of £100million on the likes Luis Sinisterra, Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams. They have lost Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha.
But they are yet to add attacking depth up top. Patrick Bamford is back from injury and scored twice in a 6-2 win over Cagliari on Sunday, while Joe Gelhardt is deserving of wonderkid status. But more options are required up top.

Che Adams has long been linked with Leeds and is an option, as is Colombian star Quinones – who had a hand in 23 goals for Mexican side Atlas last season, during 42 games. Victor Orta is seemingly hard at work before Saturday.
The report states that there were discussions held on Monday to discuss targets. It also claims that they want to add the attackers to their squad before the begin their Premier League campaign. They host Wolves at Elland Road.

Leeds do need another attacking option. Jesse Marsch has been known to revert to a 4-2-2-2 system. It means they need more than just two options up top. Of course, Rodrigo is also a valuable option as a striker.
But Gelhardt is still learning his trade and they cannot rely on Bamford for an entire season – following last season’s injury issues. £10m-rated Adams has Premier League experience and the work rate to impress in a Leeds side.
Meanwhile, Quinones has the flair and goals to impress – either from the left or up top. Leeds have already signed a Colombian in Sinisterra and that could tempt Quinones into moving to Yorkshire.
