Juventus have reportedly been offered the chance to sign FC Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay, who Tottenham have recently approached about a potential deal this summer.
According to Goal, the La Liga giants have presented their Italian rivals with the opportunity to sign the Netherlands international, with Barcelona eager to offload Depay ahead of the new season as Xavi Hernandez’s side look to raise any sort of revenue to meet league rules to register players for the upcoming campaign.
As things stand, Barcelona are not able to register all six of their new signings, and as a result, the Catalan side are going one step beyond taking desperate measures and are looking to offload anybody to generate any sort of funds, with Depay on the chopping block.
The former Olympique Lyonnais star only signed for Barcelona last year on a free transfer, yet the European titans are now open to selling Depay with Juventus being offered the chance to sign the Dutch attacker just a few weeks after Tottenham reportedly approached the forward over a potential deal.
Despite signing Richarlison from Everton, Antonio Conte is seemingly keen on adding another forward to Tottenham’s current options of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, yet for the north London side, Juventus could now be the favourites to land Depay following this latest update.
Labelled as a ‘terrific’ player by French footballing legend Patrick Vieira, Depay would be an outstanding signing for Juventus should the Bianconri complete a deal to bring the forward to Turin, and the attacker could become a phenom in Serie A if given the chance to flourish in the forward line.
Juventus might land one of the signings of the summer in Depay

Tottenham have already signed one outcast from Barcelona this summer in Clement Lenglet, yet missing out on Depay could be a huge mistake from Conte and Fabio Paratici, with Juventus now primed to land what could be one of the best deals of the window.
Depay is arguably in the peak of his career, and the forward is well-suited to Serie A football, where the Dutchman will be a menace for many defences next season should Juventus make the move to sign the Netherlands international in the final weeks of the summer market.
