According to The Scottish Sun, John Kennedy is seeking talks with Ange Postecoglou in order to thrash out his Celtic future.
Postecoglou is set to become Celtic manager this week, but rumours from Australia suggesting that Kevin Muscat could join are believed to be wide of the mark.
John Kennedy will start Celtic’s pre-season training with Postecoglou unable to do so, but his future is somewhat up in the air.
Kennedy seeking talks over Celtic future
Kennedy allegedly wants to know the future holds for him at Celtic, and wants talks with Postecoglou soon.
Postecoglou may want his own staff at Celtic, and Kennedy wants to know whether he’s part of the Australian’s plans.
Kennedy has been at Celtic for a staggering 23 years as a player, scout, coach and caretaker manager, and it’s hard to imagine him leaving – but much will depend on Postecoglou.

Still in contention for director of football job
The report adds that Kennedy is still in contention for the job as Celtic’s director of football position.
With Fergal Harkin no longer in the running, it’s unclear just who will be leading Celtic’s football decisions next season.
Kennedy could move from coaching into that director of football role, especially if Postecoglou plans to replace him on his coaching staff.
