Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal has reportedly been offered a contract by Major League Soccer club Inter Miami CF.
The 33-year-old Chile international is on the radar of the MLS expansion club, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon. Vidal has been offered a deal that can ‘hardly be rejected’, the report suggests.
Inter Miami are no strangers to the MLS transfer rumor mill, despite being relatively new to the league. The Herons have been linked to some of the world’s most talented superstars in recent months – with club president and co-owner David Beckham seen as a major pull factor.
The likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar have all been mooted as possible marquee signings for Beckham’s Miami project. Miami’s high level of ambition has been indicated by the links with the trio, who are widely regarded as the best three players on the planet.

Vidal has played more than 100 times for his country, representing Chile at the 2010 and 2014 World Cups. The midfielder has also experienced a trophy-laden career at club level.
In addition to several domestic cup victories, Vidal has won four Serie A league titles whilst with Italian giants Juventus and three Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich. The 2018-19 La Liga championship victory with Barcelona meant that Vidal had won the league title in every one of the previous eight seasons.

Vidal may not be in the same bracket as Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar. However, the potential signing of the former Juventus and Bayern star would be a huge statement of intent for Miami.
