Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish wants to join Manchester City, according to The Athletic.
Premier League champions City want to sign Grealish, and the England international wants to make the switch.
So, now, it seems that City will have to simply agree on a transfer fee with Villa.
That, of course, may not be easy.
Villa are a big club who are not under any financial pressure to sell.
The Villans have recently signed Emiliano Buenda from Norwich City.
This suggests that Villa do have money to spend.
Would Grealish be a good signing for City?
Absolutely.
The 25-year-old is a very creative player who would make the Citizens better.
Grealish may not be playing for a top-six club, but he has done enough to impress Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and City boss Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola said on BBC Radio Five Live in January 2020 that Grealish is one of the best players in the Premier League.
The Villa star was described as “incredible” and “exceptional” by Guardiola previously, as quoted in The Manchester Evening News in February 2020.
Klopp praised the Englishman after the match against Villa in October 2020 following a shock defeat for his team.
Klopp told Sky Sports: “Jack Grealish, of course, what a footballer!”
