According to Inter Live, Fabio Paratici wants to bring Inter Milan maestro Marcelo Brozovic to Tottenham, amid financial struggles for the Italians.
What’s the story?
Well, it’s been widely documented that Inter Milan need money.
Antonio Conte has gone, as has Achraf Hakimi in a deal worth £51.3m.
Romelu Lukaku is on his way to Chelsea, while Tottenham could poach his strike partner Lautaro Martinez after agreeing a fee with Inter Milan.
Now, Paratici could take advantage of their situation even more by snatching Brozovic away from the San Siro.
The 63-cap Croatia international made 42 appearances for Inter Milan last season as they won the Serie A title.
Clearly, Brozovic is an important member of the side, who they won’t want to lose.

Interestingly for Tottenham, Brozovic has actually been compared to Luka Modric, one of the finest midfielders to play in N17.
When writing a statistical feature about who could replace Modric at Real Madrid, Total Football Analysis found that Brozovic was a top pick, due to the vast similarities between the pair.
In our view, this deal isn’t necessary for Paratici right now.
However, if Tanguy Ndombele leaves due to his supposed unhappiness, perhaps it’s one that the Italian can put a bit more focus on.
As things stand, Paratici must focus on bringing another defender to Spurs, as well as a new striker in case of Harry Kane’s departure.
