Everton’s Jagielka is one of a number of centre-backs reportedly being considered by Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce.
Everton’s Phil Jagielka is a new name on Sam Allardyce’s list of centre-back targets for Crystal Palace, according to the Daily Mail.
The 34-year-old could leave Everton this month, manager Ronald Koeman admits, and Palace are one of the bookies’ favourites to sign him despite not being formally credited with an interest until now.
HITC sources understand that Allardyce is closing in on his second Eagles signing in Sunderland left-back Patrick van Aanholt, and will turn his attention shortly to the centre of his defence.

And the Daily Mail reports the names of Jagielka, along with West Ham United’s James Collins, Sunderland’s Lamine Kone and free agent Christopher Samba have all been discussed as possible signings.
Palace, who slipped into the bottom three after Saturday’s defeat to Everton, are also said to have been offered Anderlecht’s Kara Mbodji on loan.

West Ham United, Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion and Bournemouth have also been linked with a move for Jagielka, who is approaching 10 years of service to the Toffees.
