According to the Guardian, Everton could now submit a bid for Armanda Broja, after West Ham sent Chelsea an offer.
What’s the story?
Well, the Hammers have submitted a bid worth over £30m for the 20-year-old, and are also close to agreeing personal terms with the Chelsea wonderkid.
However, they could face a late obstacle in the form of Everton, with Frank Lampard aiming to bring a new striker to Goodison Park.
Broja impressed on a season-long loan at Southampton last season, scoring nine goals in all competitions as he put his name up in lights.
Now, according to the Guardian, the Albania international is keen to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis, with his pathway into the first-team far from clear under Thomas Tuchel.

Broja – who has been described by Gary Neville as “a really, really exciting talent” – is not interested in another loan, and is desperate to kickstart his career at a new club.
It comes after Newcastle expressed an air of confidence about signing the Slough-born forward, but the Magpies now look to have slipped behind in this transfer race.
Everton could be better than West Ham for Armando Broja
In our view, a move to Merseyside might actually benefit Broja more than a switch to east London.
In Lampard, Everton have a manager who excels with young players, like he did with Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori at Chelsea.
So far at Everton, the 44-year-old has also worked wonders with Anthony Gordon.

Therefore, we believe Lampard could have a huge impact on Broja, especially as the Toffees boss was a player who excelled at finishing and timing his runs.
Of course, David Moyes is a fine coach as well, and the Scot can offer Broja European football at the London Stadium.
However, we believe Goodison Park may just be a slightly more beneficial move for the promising striker’s career at this stage, especially after Richarlison’s exit opened up a space in the frontline.
