Everton have struck an agreement with Lazio for the signing of playmaker Angel Correa – but a move to Inter Milan is still a possibility.
That’s according to Alfredo Pedulla, who claims that the intention is for Lazio to close a deal on Correa’s exit by the close of play on Wednesday.
It’s stated that Everton have an agreement in principle with Lazio, but the Toffees aren’t exactly Correa’s first choice.
Correa only wants a move to Inter Milan right now, and would only consider Everton is there is no agreement found between Inter and Lazio.
The Mirror reported on Sunday that Everton have made a new offer worth £32million including add-ons, and were confident of getting a deal done.
Inter have financial problems, hence being forced to sell Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan, so they may still struggle to fund a move for Correa.

Boss Simone Inzaghi – who left Lazio for Inter this summer – is a huge fan of Correa having coached him in Rome, branding him ‘exceptional’.
The 27-year-old would earn around £77,000-a-week if he picked a move to Everton, but it all depends on whether the Toffees can tempt him into picking them over Inter.
