Reported Everton target Cedric Soares is leaving Southampton for Inter Milan in the January transfer window.
The Sun (print edition, page 53, Friday, January 11, 2019) reported of Everton’s interest in signing Cedric Soares from Premier League rivals Southampton in the January transfer window (click here to read more).
Everton’s interest
It was reported by the British tabloid that Everton were ready to make a bid of £15 million for the 27-year-old Portugal international right-back.
The Toffees could do with a right-back, not just for the second half of the season but also for the long term, and the former Sporting Lisbon star will be a good signing for the Merseyside outfit.
However, it seems that Everton are set to miss out on the services of the Portuguese star.
Inter Milan move
It has been reported that Inter have reached an agreement with the right-back and have got positive response from Southampton.
The Saints are claimed to have accepted the Italian club’s loan fee of €500,000 (£431427.44), with a buyout clause of €11 million (£9.49m).
