According to Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth are now close to signing West Ham target Marco Senesi.
What’s the story?
Well, it seems as if Scott Parker is about to get one over on his old employers.
Romano believes Bournemouth have reached an agreement with the Argentina international in regards to personal terms, and are now working to strike a deal with Feyenoord.
It comes just days after some sources claimed West Ham had submitted a bid worth £13m for the South American.
Clearly, that hasn’t had an impact on Bournemouth’s pursuit of Senesi.

Interest in the 25-year-old comes after he helped Feyenoord reach the UEFA Conference League final last season, making 50 appearances in all competitions, while scoring three goals.
Newcastle also expressed an interest in signing Senesi back in January, although as far as we know, the Magpies are yet to make a move for the Argentine this summer after completing a deal for Sven Botman.
Marco Senesi should choose West Ham over Bournemouth
In our view, we have no idea why Senesi would join Bournemouth instead of West Ham – with all due respect to the Cherries.
At the London Stadium, the Feyenoord No.4 would be able to play European football in the UEFA Conference League, while he also has a good chance of receiving playing time.
Angelo Ogbonna is working his way back to full fitness following a serious injury, while Nayef Aguerd has also picked up an injury following his move from Rennes a few weeks ago.

Therefore, Senesi has a chance to become a starter, especially with doubts over the future of Issa Diop.
The Frenchman is a target for Fulham, and the Cottagers have even agreed personal terms with the centre-back.
Ultimately, if Senesi declines a move to West Ham in favour of a relegation battle with Bournemouth, we will be very surprised.
