Derby County reportedly want Joel Asoro of Sunderland.

Sunderland winger Joel Asoro is a player in demand, with Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers all reported to be interested in the 19-year-old winger.
Asoro is a hugely exciting and talented young winger, and with his current contract with League One club Sunderland running out next summer, as reported by The Northern Echo, it does not come as a surprise that Premier League trio Tottenham, Arsenal and Newcastle all want him.
According to The Daily Star (print edition, page 49, May 13, 2018), Wolves and Tottenham are interested in signing Asoro from Sunderland in the summer transfer window (click here to read more), and The Daily Mail has credited Newcastle with interest in the 19-year-old winger.
However, it seems that it is Derby County who have made a move for Sunderland winger Asoro in the summer transfer window.
According to TEAMtalk, Derby have made a move for Asoro, with manager Frank Lampard hoping that the prospect of playing first-team football will convince him to agree to a move.
Premier League club Arsenal are also reported to be keen on the Sweden Under-21 international.

Exit inevitable
With Sunderland playing in League One next season, it is hard to see the Black Cats retain the services of Asoro beyond the summer.
With just a year left on the winger’s contract, it would make sense for the Black Cats to cash in on him this summer and invest that money in signing players for the 2018-19 campaign.
