Report: Crystal Palace close to signing Jaroslaw Jach

Crystal Palace are close to completing two signings in the January transfer window.

According to reports from Sky Sports (Transfer live blog; 20/01/2018 – 20:45 pm), Crystal Palace are close to signing Polish defender Jaroslaw Jack.

The Eagles are expected to complete the move in the next few days, and the deal could be announced on Monday, that is within the next 48 hours.

The 23-year-old plays for Zaglebie Lubin, and is expected to arrive from Poland for £2.64 million (3 million Euros), according to Polish media outlet Polski-Sport.

Bolstering the central defence is one of Roy Hodgson’s top priority in the January transfer window. With Scott Dann out for rest of the season, and Mamadou Sakho and Joel Ward are out with injuries as well, Palace need cover in that area.

Another player who could be joining the Eagles next week is Benfica midfielder Erdal Rakip. The exciting Sweden U21 international of Macedonian heritage has undergone a medical at the club already.

Meanwhile, Palace lost 4-1 against Arsenal in the Premier League clash on Saturday. They are 13th in the league table, with 25 points on board.
