According to Sport Bladet, Brentford have agreed a fee with FC Midtjylland for the services of Jens Cajuste, who Crystal Palace and Leeds were keen on.
What’s the story?
Well, it was recently said that Crystal Palace, Leeds, Newcastle and Wolves were in talks with the Danish outfit over a deal for Cajuste.
At the time, FC Midtjylland wanted SEK 140 million for their No.40, which equates to £11.8m.
Now, Sport Bladet reveal that Brentford have shook hands on a deal worth SEK 120 million, which is slightly below the asking price at £10m.
You can understand how the Bees have beaten the aforementioned Premier League quartet to Cajuste’s signature.
Thomas Frank’s side already contains a number of Scandinavian players, while Matthew Benham – owner of FC Midtjylland – also owns Brentford.
In that respect, we’re sure a deal wasn’t too difficult to negotiate.
Who is Jens Cajuste?

Well, it must be said that Brentford are getting a fine, young prospect.
Cajuste has racked up plenty of Champions League experience with FC Midtjylland, and even left Jürgen Klopp furious at one point last season.
Impressively, only Lionel Messi registered more successful dribbles than the 21-year-old in last season’s Champions League.

A 6ft 2in defensive midfielder, with exquisite technical skills and ball carrying ability, makes Cajuste a very exciting player.
Of course, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Newcastle and Wolves could still match Brentford’s offer.
However, the close links between FC Midtjylland and Brentford make us believe that the Sweden international is heading to the Bees.
