Leeds United are in the market for new faces this summer, and Midtjylland midfielder Jesn Cajuste is a very interest target.
A new midfielder is a priority for Bielsa this summer, and a young talent for the future to support Kalvin Phillips and Stuart Dallas would make sense.
Last week, The Sun reported that Marcelo Bielsa had made Midtjylland star Cajuste his top midfield target in a move that would cost around £13million.
The problem is that the likes of Newcastle, Brentford, Wolves and Crystal Palace are all interested too, meaning Leeds face a major battle.
Cajuste, 21, joined Midtjylland from Orgryte in his native Sweden back in 2018, and has emerged as a real talent in Scandinavia.
The 6ft 2in midfielder, who was schooled in China, is a real box-to-box player with outstanding ability on the ball – and one stat from last season summed that up.
As noted by WhoScored, only Messi completed more dribbles per game than Cajuste in the Champions League last term.
That shows the ability Cajuste has on the ball, able to glide past players with ease – almost four times a game on average.
That kind of ability could bring something different to the Leeds midfield, and fans would surely be excited to see Cajuste bring that quality to Elland Road.
