Turkish outlet Fanatik claim Antonio Conte has approved a move to sign Ridvan Yilmaz from Besiktas – with the left-back said to be keen on a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the coming months.
Yilmaz, 21, has made the left-back spot his own at Besiktas over the last couple of seasons. Coming through the club’s academy, he has played 62 times in all competitions – having a hand in 11 goals.

The youngster is already a fully-fledged Turkey international with six caps. This summer, he was set to join German club Eintracht Frankfurt but talks have broken down – with Frankfurt looking to pay in instalments.
Reports state that Besiktas are open to his exit for £8.5million, and the player himself is keen on joining Spurs. Now, Fanatik say Tottenham are ready to take advantage of Frankfurt’s failure, with Conte green-lighting a move.
Conte has approved Yilmaz move to Tottenham
Tottenham have options on the left side of Conte’s 3-4-3 system. Ivan Perisic has joined the club, joining Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon as options as wing-back. Perisic can also cover Son Heung-min.
But Reguilon is being linked with an exit. Sessegnon showed signs of improvement towards the end of the season but has hardly done enough to fully convince Conte as of yet, hence the signing of Perisic.
Yilmaz is a top talent, albeit in a poor Turkish league. For such a bargain fee, he is a potential bargain. Spurs should look into a move – even if they decide to loan him back to Besiktas immediately.
