Juventus are reportedly open to offering Brazilian midfielder Arthur in a swap deal for Nicolo Zaniolo, with the pair both recently linked to moves to north London sides Arsenal and Tottenham.
According to Goal, the Old Lady are keen on signing Zaniolo this summer but are not willing to meet AS Roma’s asking price for the attacking midfielder, with Tottenham also chasing the Italian international who now looks set to leave the Italian capital.
With Juventus unable to afford Zaniolo, the Serie A giants are now looking at which players could be sent over in a potential swap deal, with Arthur, who was heavily linked with Arsenal in the January transfer window, the new name on the table.
The midfielder signed for Juventus for a reported £70m in 2019, yet the Turin-based club are now looking to offload the Brazilian international as Massimiliano Allegri looks to rebuild his squad after two years of not winning the Serie A title.
And Zaniolo is being eyed as a big-name signing for Juventus, with the club now trying to get Roma to agree to a swap deal with Arthur, who is seemingly keen to depart the Serie A side this summer after not being a guaranteed starter for the past two seasons.
Labelled as a ‘genius’ Zaniolo is regarded as one of Italy’s most promising talents, yet after falling out with Roma behind the scenes, Juventus now look ready to beat Tottenham to the midfielder’s signature, with Fabio Paratici recently making contact with the Roman side for the 22-year-old.
Tottenham could lose out on Zaniolo if Juventus make Arthur swap deal

Juventus are the kings of the transfer market in Italy, and if the Bianconeri make a swap deal proposal involving Arthur, Roma could be tempted to allow Zaniolo to go the other way given how much the Brazilian midfielder would improve Jose Mourinho’s squad.
Moreover, Zaniolo himself could be tempted to move to Juventus despite interest from Tottenham given how dominate the Old Lady have been in Italy in his life time, success that Spurs can’t compete with.
