Well, Djed Spence to Tottenham Hotspur is looking like it’s going to materialise.
Earlier on Sunday, The Northern Echo reported that Antonio Conte asked Spurs to ramp up interest in the newly-promoted Nottingham Forest star.
Spurs tried and failed to sign the 21-year-old during the January transfer window, but it looks very much like it’ll happen this time around.
According to The Express, Forest themselves are ‘resigned’ to Tottenham signing their gem, with Fabio Paratici personally scouting him on a number of occasions this year alone.
The report adds that the Lilywhites will be willing to stump up £15 million for the player – a figure that’ll be enough to get him to North London.

This would be an additionally excellent piece of business because it helps out Tottenham on the homegrown quota, should it materialise.
Conte has already welcomed Ivan Perisic this week and Fraser Forster is poised to become their second summer signing over the coming days.
The young right-back coming in would also then offset the departure of one of Emerson Royal or Matt Doherty, with the former probably the more likely given that Doherty is injured right now and, honestly, probably someone who Conte wants to keep more than the Brazilian anyway.
