It has been a crazy few days at Juventus. Following the resignation of the entire Juve board, Italian outlet CMW claim the incoming board members have decided to axe Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea target Adrien Rabiot in January.
Rabiot, 27, is out of contract at Juventus next summer. But under Max Allegri of late, he has been in stunning form. Indeed, Juventus have at least turned their fortunes around on the pitch, winning six of their last six Serie A matches.
In that time, Rabiot has helped Juventus keep six clean sheets – having a hand in five goals. Indeed, the Frenchman has scored two goals and laid on three assists. At the World Cup, he has also impressed – despite France losing to Tunisia.
But with his contractual situation up in their, Juventus have got to make a decision in January. Do they keep him and let him go for nothing, or do they cash in? CMW say the incoming board will look to get rid of Rabiot next month.

He is not the only one, with Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro also set to go. CalcioMercato have recently reported that he wants £166,000 a week and while Juve cannot afford that, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are willing to offer it.

Rabiot is in brilliant form and showing what many had predicted of him during his early years at Juventus. He is finally turning potential and promise, into proven midfield quality at the top level. He could be available on the cheap.
Liverpool need midfield depth. Proven by the club signing Arthur Melo on loan – but the Brazilian instantly suffering an injury. He remains on loan from Rabiot’s Juventus. Chelsea need to replace Jorginho and N’Golo Kante.
Both are out of contract in June at Chelsea, like Rabiot at Juventus. Arsenal could do with better depth in midfield, especially Granit Xhaka’s proneness to suspension, and Thomas Partey to injury. January will be an interesting one.
