Reported Tottenham Hotspur managerial candidate Scott Parker will not be sacked, according to The Sun.

The Daily Mail reported last month that Fulham boss Parker is one of the managers Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly looking at.

Tottenham are on the hunt for a new permanent manager to replace Jose Mourinho, who was sacked last month and was replaced by Ryan Mason until the end of the season.

The Sun has claimed that despite friction between Parker and the Fulham owners, the London club will not sack the 40-year-old.

The report has claimed that Parker is not happy with Tony Khan’s lack of communication, and if he does not want to work with him, then he will have to quit.

This is an interesting twist, and one that will affect Tottenham chairman Levy.

Fulham reportedly not willing to sack Parker means that they do not want to give him a pay-off.

This means that if Spurs want to hire Parker, then it is likely that they will have to pay a compensation fee to Fulham.

That will only increase the cost for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who will surely not want to pay a compensation fee to bring in a new manager.

Many will question whether Parker is suitable for the Spurs managerial role.

After all, the Fulham boss is only 40 and he could not keep the Cottagers in the Premier League.
