Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with Everton over signing Jordan Pickford, according to a report.

Football Transfers have reported that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jordan Pickford from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Tottenham have been following Pickford for several months and want to replace Hugo Lloris with the England international goalkeeper.

Spurs have already made contact with Everton and have been in talks with Pickford’s camp as well.

The Toffees want £40 million in transfer fees for Pickford and could sell him to Tottenham if they get that from Spurs.

Football Transfers, though, have added that Pickford needs two assurances.

Firstly, the 29-year-old – described as “a first-rate player for Everton and England over many years” by Everton Director of Football Kevin Thelwell – wants to know who Tottenham’s new manager will be.

Secondly, Pickford wants to know if Harry Kane will stay at Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur could be able to sign Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur could be able to sign Jordan Pickford from Everton in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham are a bigger and more ambitious club that the Toffees and will aim to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season.

Everton almost got relegated to the Championship this past season.

We believe that if Spurs made a good offer to Pickford and convince him that he will be their number one goalkeeper, then they would be able to sign him.
