According to The Athletic, Liverpool central defender Ben Davies has yet to show his manager Jurgen Klopp that he is ready to play for the first team.
Davies joined Liverpool from Championship club Preston North End on transfer deadline day.
The 25-year-old has not played at all for the defending Premier League champions so far, although Liverpool manager Klopp is positive that he will be in action soon.
The Athletic has reported that ‘Davies is yet to demonstrate in training that he is ready for the team, although he is said to be improving.’
Staying positive
Some Liverpool fans might be getting impatient about Davies, but it must be remembered that he was playing in the Championship just a few weeks ago.

It can take a while for players to find their rhythm when they join a new club, and the way Liverpool play is very different from many other teams.
Davies is a very experienced player, and Liverpool fans should stay positive that the 25-year-old – described as “a really good player” by manager Klopp on Liverpool’s official website earlier this month – will get up to speed soon.
