Everton have been linked with Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy in the January transfer window.

Everton are interested in signing Jamie Vardy from Leicester City, according to Sky Sports.
It has been reported that Everton manager Sam Allardyce is a long-term admirer of the England international striker and would be keen to add him to his squad this month.
However, Everton are unlikely to sanction a deal for the 31-year-old striker in the January transfer window, according to the report.

According to Sky Sports, Everton have concerns over paying a hefty transfer fee for a 31-year-old, having spent £50 million on Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun this month already.
Vardy is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is a proven goalscorer in English football.

The former Fleetwood Town star would have made an immediate impact at Goodison Park, but it seems that Everton will not make a move for him this month.
This is probably not going to please Everton fans, many of whom have urged the Merseyside outfit to sign Vardy from Leicester on social networking site Twitter, as reported by HITC Sport.
