Everton’s odds to sign Vardy have fallen significantly in recent weeks, with the bookies seemingly feeling that a deal could be done to bring the 29-year-old to Goodison Park.
And Everton fans would be seriously excited, if they were able to bring in Vardy.
The Toffees have already bolstered their attacking ranks this month, but their struggles going forward may mean that another forward is on Allardyce’s wishlist.
Everton have brought in Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun to strengthen their offensive options for the second part of the season, but Vardy would arguably be their most impressive addition, if he was to join.
Vardy has found the back of the net on nine occasions for Leicester this term in the Premier League.
Whether Everton still have the funds or whether Leicester would be willing to sell Vardy this month remains to be seen, but it may be a potential move to keep an eye out for over the next few days.
