Harry Kane has been linked with a potential move to Bayern Munich since the summer, and it seems that the German giants still have their eyes firmly set on the Tottenham striker.

Indeed, according to Bild, Bayern Munich do not believe there is another striker in Europe who suits them as much as the ‘phenomenal’ striker does.

Bayern don’t want to spend big on Kane, but they do fancy signing him on a free transfer in 2024.

Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Kane comes as no surprise. After all, he’s been one of the best players in Europe over the past decade, and he’s once again shown his brilliance this term.

Kane has been in outstanding form this season and has scored 17 league goals in just 23 games. Furthermore, his ability to link up with his teammates have made him a real threat in terms of assists in recent years.

All of these factors combined would make him perfect for Bayern. Not only would he be able to replace Robert Lewandowski’s goal output but he’d be able to bring the best out of the likes of Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane with his playmaking.

While the likes of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and have filled in admirably in Lewandowski’s absence, the Germans know they need a long-term replacement for the Polish striker after selling him to Barcelona in the summer.

Should Bayern Munich successfully sign Kane, they would undoubtedly bolster their already impressive attacking options. The 29-year-old would provide a different dimension to their attack, with his pace, power and ability to score from almost anywhere in the final third.

Furthermore, his experience at the highest level would prove invaluable in Bayern’s quest for domestic and European success, while Kane himself would surely be keen on the idea of winning trophies over in Bavaria.

It seems that Bayern are very much intent on signing Kane, and this could be one to watch as the England captain heads into the final year of his contract if Spurs do buckle on his asking price.
