Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly about to miss out on the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
The Sun reported in May that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Edouard Mendy from Chelsea.
The report claimed that Tottenham want Mendy to replace their number one goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Mendy is on his way to Saudi Arabia.
Romano has claimed that Mendy has agreed personal terms with Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli.
The 31-year-old Senegal international goalkeeper will put pen to paper on a contract until June 2026, according to the journalist.
Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy to join Al Ahli, not Tottenham Hotspur

Moving on
While it will be a disappointment for Tottenham Hotspur that Edouard Mendy is on his way to Saudi Arabia, there are other options between the sticks for the North London club.
David Raya, for example.
The Times have claimed that Tottenham are keen on signing the Spain international goalkeeper, who has publicly said that he wants to leave the Bees in the summer transfer window.
Raya is younger than Mendy, and given how good he is with the ball at his feet, he would be a smart signing for Spurs.
