Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Edouard Mendy from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Sun have reported that Tottenham Hotspur scouts have been following Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy “closely for some time”.
The report has claimed that Tottenham wants Mendy to replace their number one goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Mendy “has rejected a six-year deal and failed to agree terms with new Blues chairman Todd Boehly”, according to the report.

We believe that the 31-year-old would be a safe pair of hands for Spurs.
Now, Hugo Lloris has been superb for Tottenham over the years and is also a World Cup winner with France.
However, Lloris is past his prime and is not getting any younger.
Mendy, who earns £55,000 per week (Spotrac), has not always played regularly for Chelsea, but he is at the top of his game now at the age of 31.
The Senegal international has extensive experience of playing in the Premier League.
However, there are two factors that could affect a potential transfer.
Mendy may not be too keen on joining a Tottenham side who may not even play in the UEFA Europa League next season.
And the goalkeeper would be well aware of the rivalry that exists between Chelsea and Tottenham.
