Today, Villarreal have announced the signing of Arnaut Danjuma from Bournemouth, in a deal which impacts Liverpool and Crystal Palace’s plans.
What’s the story?
Well, Unai Emery’s side have completed the signing of Danjuma in a deal worth £21.3m.
It was said that Patrick Vieira wanted the Dutchman at Selhurst Park, where he would then dovetail with Wilfried Zaha and Michael Olise.
Elsewhere, Liverpool were believed to be interested in the 24-year-old.
However, Vieira and Jürgen Klopp will now have to look elsewhere.
It’s no surprise to see Danjuma make the step up from a Championship side to a Champions League outfit – he is that good.
In 52 games for Bournemouth, the 2-cap Netherlands international scored 17 goals and provided eight assists.
Who else could Liverpool and Crystal Palace get?

Danjuma is a winger, so you might be wondering who else the Reds and the Eagles could turn to.
In Liverpool’s case, there has been interest in Watford forward Ismaila Sarr, so he could be someone Klopp turns to next, in our view.
In Crystal Palace’s case, the south Londoners have been linked with a move for their former academy winger Noni Madueke.

The London-born forward is currently in the form of his life over at PSV Eindhoven with five goals in seven games this season.
Both Premier League sides have just under two weeks to complete any more business they’d like to do.
