According to MARCA, Liverpool are interested in signing Bournemouth forward Arnaut Danjuma, who Villarreal have already bid for.
What’s the story?
Well, the Spanish news outlet believe Liverpool have enquired about the 2-cap Netherlands international.
Villarreal submitted an offer worth €15m (£12.8m). However, Bournemouth want €25m (£21.3m) for Danjuma, so there’s a big of a gap in the two sums.
In what is something of a boost to Liverpool, MARCA believe Villarreal have no plans to meet that £21.3m asking price.
The Reds will, however, have to fend off interest from Crystal Palace.
Dorset Live revealed that Danjuma is a target for the Eagles, and their Sporting Director Dougie Freedman was at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Jürgen Klopp must also watch out for Leeds

Forget Crystal Palace for a moment – Liverpool must also fend off Leeds.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side haven’t actually been linked with the Bournemouth No.10.
However, they were thrust into the saga following an interview with Danjuma.

Speaking to Voetbal international towards the end of June, the winger – unprompted – said a move to Leeds would be nice.
Currently, Liverpool are a more attractive proposition and can offer Champions League football.
In that respect, even if Danjuma does have his heart set on Leeds, we’re sure Klopp would be able to convince him to move to Anfield.
