Celtic are in the race to sign Legia Warsaw defender Josip Juranovic – but face a major battle to bring him to Glasgow this summer.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim that Juranovic is the latest right back to be on Celtic’s radar as Ange Postecoglou seeks new signings.
However, Sky also claim that Fiorentina and Spartak Moscow want to sign Juranovic, so this one won’t be easy for Celtic.
Juranovic, 25, only joined Legia last year having impressed in his native Croatia with Hajduk Split, but he could already be on the move again.
Juranovic helped Legia win the Polish title last season, and Celtic would be looking for him to bring similar fortunes to Parkhead.
A Croatia international with 10 caps to his name, Juranovic isn’t the biggest right back of all time at 5ft 8in tall, but registered an impressive eight assists last season.
Juranovic even played at Euro 2020, starting for Croatia against both Scotland and Spain having been on the bench for the first two outings of the summer.
Celtic have allegedly struck a deal to sign Royal Antwerp right back Aurelio Buta, and with two options needed there, Juranovic could end up following Buta to Glasgow.
