Tottenham Hotspur have shown an interest in signing Gremio talent Vanderson – but he could end up heading to Premier League rivals Brentford today.
That’s according to Goal, who claim that Brentford are pushing to pull off an ambition deal for Vanderson before the window slams shut.
Gremio don’t want to sell, but Brentford are now putting €15million (£13million) on the table in the hope of tempting them into a deal.
AC Milan have had a loan bid rejected, and there is genuine hope that Brentford would have time to pull off this move for Vanderson on deadline day.
Vanderson, 20, has played 42 games for Gremio in all competitions, picking up four goals and one assist along the way.
Primarily a right back, Vanderson would be seen as competition for Sergi Canos and Mads Roerslev in the right wing back role at Brenford following Henrik Dalsgaard’s exit.

Tottenham Hotspur made a move for Vanderson earlier this month according to Globo Esporte, but were told no deal would be possible.
Spurs seemingly gave up and are now prioritising another Brazilian right back, with Barcelona’s Emerson Royal looking likely to join today.
Vanderson could still find his way to London though, and what a coup this could be if Brentford somehow pull it off in the final hours of the window.
