Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur are now interested in reported Arsenal target Vanderson, according to Globo Esporte.
What’s the story?
Globo Esporte have reported that Tottenham are among a number of clubs interested in signing Vanderson from Gremio in the summer transfer window.
Spurs have asked ‘information’ about the 20-year-old full-back, but Gremio have told the North London club that they are not even going to open talks over a potential transfer this summer.
AC Milan have also made an approach, Spartak Moscow are monitoring the youngster’s situation, and even Arsenal have previously shown interest in the 20-year-old, according to the report.
Arsenal interest
This is not the first time that Arsenal’s interest in full-back Vanderson has been reported.
In June, Yahoo journalist Jorge Nicola said on YouTube that Arsenal are monitoring Vanderson.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport at the time.

Could a transfer happen?
Arsenal and Tottenham’s reported interested in Vanderson is understandable.
Serge Aurier has not been great for Spurs over the years, and Tottenham head coach Nuno could do with someone younger than him in the squad.
Hector Bellerin could leave Arsenal this summer, and manager Mikel Arteta could do with a right-back who can be a success in the long run.
However, Gremio’s stance that they will not sell Vanderson this summer suggests that a transfer is unlikely to happen.
