According to SPORT, Barcelona have made Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United target Ruben Neves their No.1 priority this summer.

What’s the story?

Well, this will surely be of interest to Mikel Arteta, Antonio Conte and Erik ten Hag.

SPORT believe Barcelona are not confident of luring Bernardo Silva away from Manchester City, nor do they believe they can afford to sign AC Milan gem Rafael Leao.

Therefore, the Spanish giants are now set to go all out in a bid to bring Neves to the Camp Nou.

Barcelona have already told Jorge Mendes – the £15.8m Wolves maestro’s agent – that they plan to put 100% into their pursuit of the Portugal international, who they plan to pair with Franck Kessie in midfield.

It comes after some outlets claimed that Ten Hag has also made Neves a priority for his project at Old Trafford.

Elsewhere, Arteta is also said to have earmarked the 25-year-old as a key target, although Tottenham plan to frustrate their north London neighbours and lodge a move of their own.

Bruno Lage has already admitted that Wolves may struggle to keep Neves, who he believes should leave Molineux for no less than £70m.

SPORT add that Wolves have already found a replacement in Joao Palhinha, so it seems Lage is planning for life without his No.8 in the Midlands.

Arsenal, Tottenham & Manchester United may lose out to Barcelona

While the Premier League trio are in much better financial shape in comparison to the Spaniards, it certainly seems as if they could all lose out on Neves to Barcelona.

It has been said that Neves is keen to join Xavi in Catalonia, so the Gunners, Spurs and the Red Devils have work to do in order to change his mind.

Whatever happens, it is no surprise to see so many European giants sniffing around the Portuguese playmaker, as he is one of the best in England at what he does – only time will tell where he ends up.
