Aston Villa and Middlesbrough could be about to exchange wingers.
Adama Traore
Middlesbrough are closing in on the signing of Aston Villa winger Adama Traore, reports the Gazette.
Traore has allegedly travelled to Teesside for contract talks, with a medical lined up for Wednesday.
As previously reported by HITC Sport, Boro’s Albert Adomah is set move in the opposite direction, although it is not thought the two deals are reliant on one another.

Traore moved to Villa a year ago from Barcelona, but made just 11 appearances in his first season at Villa Park and informed his employers of his desire to leave earlier in the summer.
Now, at long last, the Spanish youth international looks to have got his wish, with Boro quick to find a replacement for Adomah, who will sign for Villa in a £6 million deal subject to passing a medical.
HITC Sport understands that Chelsea’s Victor Moses is also being considered by Aitor Karanka’s side.

However, Traore should satisfy his fellow Spaniard’s need for a new wide man, assuming everything goes to plan.
Moses, who scored in his side’s win against Burnley on Saturday, signed a new long-term deal earlier this summer.
