Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa are still pushing to sign Leeds United target and Watford winger Ismaila Sarr in the summer transfer window, according to The Express & Star.
The report has claimed that Villa are pushing to get a £25 million deal done for Watford winger Sarr before the summer transfer window closes next week.
The Villans have reportedly agreed a deal with Watford, and have been holding talks with the Senegal international star’s representatives.
The report has claimed that Villa were speaking to Sarr’s representatives on Sunday night.
Could Leeds still sign Aston Villa target Ismaila Sarr?
In our view, Leeds United could still be able to sign Ismaila Sarr ahead of Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Foot Mercato reporter earlier this month that Leeds are interested in signing Sarr, who is “frightening” and whose “acceleration is phenomenal”, according to his former Watford teammate Ben Foster on the Premier League’s YouTube channel in September 2021.
It seems that Watford are happy with £25 million as transfer fee for the winger.
So, if Leeds make an offer of £25 million to the Hornets and open talks with Sarr over personal terms, then they could be able to beat Villa to his signature.
The big question is whether Leeds will do so.
