Mikel Arteta would be ‘happy’ to sell Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal in January, as the forward pushes for a move, Goal.com report.
Nketiah on the move?
Nketiah has just months remaining on his current Arsenal deal and no new contract has been able to be agreed.
The young striker has not featured at all for Arsenal in the Premier League this term, although he does have two goals in two EFL Cup games.
Nketiah now seemingly wants more regularly game time.
Arteta had previously pleaded with Nketiah to stay at Arsenal, the Daily Mail report.
But it seems that he is now more willing to sanction the youngster’s exit.
Arteta knows the player’s desire to feature more regularly and it is claimed that he would be ‘happy’ to grant his wishes and find him a new club.
Whether Arsenal will find an agreeable buyer for their academy graduate remains to be seen though.

Time to move on?
Crystal Palace tried to sign Nketiah in the summer, but personal terms couldn’t be agreed – and they have since brought in Odsonne Edouard to bolster their attacking options.
Nketiah’s other Premier League options could be limited, as he hasn’t been able to showcase his talents this term.
His decision to leave Arsenal does look to be the right one for his career though.
With Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang in such fine form, it is difficult to see how Nkeitah, who was once hailed as brilliant by Sky pundit Alan Smith, breaks into their team at any stage in the near future.
And at the age of 22, the time has now surely come for him to move to new pastures and be a regular starter to aid his development.
