Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun has been training with the first-team ahead of Mikel Arteta’s side’s game against Molde this evening, the Daily Mirror report.

Balogun made his Arsenal debut in the Europa League last week, as he came off the bench in his side’s 3-0 victory over Dundalk.

The Mirror now say that Balogun will be involved again this evening, although he will not be given his first start.

HITC reported how some Arsenal fans have been calling for Arteta to give the clinical finisher a starting place up-front this evening, but the latest report says that he is set to be on the bench.

That is still likely to please the prospect, as he continues to push for more game time.

Arteta is now clearly taking a close look at the youngster, and his latest call-up to senior training can only be encouraging for the teenager.

Balogun has been a prolific scorer for Arsenal’s development side, and there are high hopes for his future at the Emirates Stadium.

However, the Gunners still seemingly need to convince the youngster that penning a new contract would be best for his development.

Balogun has just months remaining on his current deal, which has led to some uncertainty forming around his future.
