Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both turned down the chance to sign AS Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara.
According to Rome-based publication Siamo la Roma, the Italian club are eager to offload the 24-year-old this summer.
Jose Mourinho has offered the Guinean international to Arsenal and Wolves, but the Premier League clubs have rejected the proposal.
As per the report, Roma want €16m (£13m) for the former Napoli star.
Moreover, Diawara was used as leverage by the Serie A club in their negotiations with Arsenal for Granit Xhaka. However, that deal has collapsed, with the Swiss midfielder set to stay in north London.
Moreover, Wolves were offered Diawara in their talks with Roma over the sale of Rui Patricio. Unlike Arsenal, though that deal went through. Though the African midfielder remained in the Italian capital.
Whilst both the Gunners and Wolves have rejected Diawara, that’s not to say the ex-Bologna midfielder is a player who would not suit Premier League football.

Despite being a clear talent, Mourinho doesn’t appear to be a fan of Diawara. As per the report, Roma have ‘tried in every way’ to sell the Guinean international this window but to no avail.
Although both Arsenal and Wolves are eager to sign central midfielders this window, it is clear that Diawara won’t be joining either Premier League side anytime soon.
