PSG have reportedly slashed their asking price for rumoured Arsenal and Tottenham target Leandro Paredes, with the Argentine allowed to leave for just £15m with Juventus also keen on signing the midfielder.

According to Goal, the Ligue 1 champions have reduced their valuation of the 28-year-old by almost half to €20m (£15m) following interest from Juventus, who are now the frontrunners to sign Paredes ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham, who have both been linked with the midfielder in recent weeks, along with Manchester United.

As per the report, PSG are keen to trim their squad this summer and selling Paredes is something the French giants would consider if they receive a £15m offer for the former AS Roma superstar, with Juventus keen on signing the South American if they can first reportedly offload a single first-team player.

With Paredes also open to joining Juventus, this signing appears to be a matter of ‘when’ and not ‘if’, with the Serie A side working hard to offload the likes of Adrien Rabiot and former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who were both excluded from the club’s pre-season tour of the United States earlier last week.

Labelled as a midfield ‘menace’ by Total Football Analysis, Paredes is a player who has thrived in Serie A before with Roma, and in the prime of his career after a solid spell with PSG, the 28-year-old could be a revelation for Juventus should the Old Lady beat both Arsenal and Tottenham to the £15m superstar.

Indeed, Arsenal and Tottenham could do with a midfielder of Paredes’ unique qualities, yet with Juventus now setting their sights firmly on the Argentine, the Turin side could be ready to soon make a move to sign the PSG outcast, especially with the French club lowering their asking price.

Paredes has impressed when given the chance at PSG, yet with the club eager to sell and Juventus interested in the former Zenit star, moving back to Italy just seems to make a lot of sense for the South American, even with Arsenal and Tottenham interested in the 28-year-old.

After all, Juventus are looking to rebuild their squad and reclaim the Serie A title away from Milan, and signing Paredes to partner to likes of the returning Paul Pogba and Weston McKennie would be a study midfield trio for the Bianconeri ahead of the coming season.
