Manchester United have reportedly make an enquiry to sign PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes, who is also wanted by Arsenal and Tottenham this summer.
According to L’Equipe, the Red Devils are testing the waters with a potential move for the Argentine international, with PSG valuing Pardes at €35m (£30m) as new manager Christophe Galtier looks to offload numerous players from the Ligue 1 title-winning side.
Paredes has been in and out of the PSG XI ever since his arrival from Zenit in January 2019, and this summer could finally see the midfielder depart Paris amid plenty of Premier League interest, with United now making a move to sign the 28-year-old.
Reports earlier in the year indicated that Arsenal and Tottenham were both interested in signing Paredes, but since these initial rumours, neither of the north London sides have made a concrete attempt to bring the United target to the English capital.
Indeed, Paredes would be a solid addition to a top Premier League side and PSG’s eagerness to sell the South American could help United greatly in their bid to sign the former AS Roma superstar, with Erik Ten Hag keen to overhaul the Red Devils’ midfield this summer.
Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard have all departed since the end of last season, and Paredes could be a welcome arrival for the Manchester giants if United are to follow through on their initial enquiry for the PSG midfielder.
Paredes would be a great new signing for United

Paredes has been an interesting character since joining PSG over three years ago, and a move to the Premier League with United could be a wise next step for the Argentine star given what the English giants are looking to add in the coming weeks.
A combative midfielder could be a breath of fresh air for United next season, and with PSG looking to sell and Arsenal and Tottenham cooling their interest, there’s a good chance that Ten Hag can sign the 28-year-old if they play their cards right.
