Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United may now be focusing on Moises Caicedo, but it seems that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are not giving up on signing the Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder yet.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal “retain an interest” in signing Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion.
There have been speculation in recent days that Arsenal are planning a bid of £40 million for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia, which could end their interest in Caicedo.
However, it seems that Arsenal are still looking to bring the Ecuador international midfielder to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The Times have reported that Manchester United are now going to focus on signing Caicedo after struggling to agree a deal with Chelsea for England international midfielder Mason Mount.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport that Chelsea will make a bid for the midfielder, who, according to former Liverpool star John Barnes, is a “fantastic” player.

Encouraging Moises Caicedo update for Arsenal
In our opinion, that Arsenal are not giving up on signing Moises Caicedo despite interest from Manchester United and Chelsea is great news for the Emirates Stadium.
It shows that the Gunners think that they could be able to convince Brighton and the midfielder over a transfer this summer.
We know that Arsenal had bids turned down for the youngster in the January transfer window, and it seems that they remain keen on him now as well.
