Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal may not make a move for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans in the January transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones in GiveMeSport.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that it is not certain that Arsenal will make a bid for Leicester and Belgium international midfielder Tielemans.
The Gunners have long been linked with the midfielder, who cost Leicester £40 million in transfer fees (The Guardian).
The 25-year-old is out of contract at the Foxes at the end of the season.
Arsenal could change chance on Leicester’s Youri Tielemans
Jones told GiveMeSport: “Maybe some of it is around the fee, maybe it’s to do with Leicester not wanting to sell there and then.
“Also it’s to do with the fact that Arsenal have got their feelers out and are looking at other players right now, so I still think the Tielemans situation is quite uncertain.“

Uncertain
It is hard to say what what could happen with Arsenal and Youri Tielemans in the middle of the season.
There is speculation that the former AS Monaco star – described as “fantastic “ by Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers in The Daily Mail – wants to join Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The midfielder is out of contract at Leicester at the end of the season, and the former Premier League champions could be tempted to cash in on him in January instead of losing him on a free next summer.
However, Leicester need their best players, including Tielemans, to have a successful season.
